Laser‐Scanning Microscopy for Electrophoretic Mobility Characterization of Single Nanoparticles

To enable detailed studies of interactions between nanoparticles and their environment the correlations various nanoparticle properties, one must go beyond ensemble averages toward single-particle measurements. However, current methodologies for single-nanoparticle analysis charge size either lack flexibility to study dynamic processes on level or are highly specific require complex microfluidic devices. In addition, accurate measurements electrophoretic mobility (or zeta-potential) based optical detection single remain challenging due low photon budget, required sampling frequency, fact that electroosmosis in typical devices be analyzed carefully. this study, a method is investigated accurately characterize individual estimate by simultaneously analyzing electrokinetic- Brownian motion simple channel. Fast laser scanning excitation sensitive fluorescent photons velocimetry experiments an oscillating electric field at high frame rates.
